Just say that you have made a serious choice in your life that you believe in, if they can respect your choice then you will respect theirs. There aren’t too many people that will call you stupid and you aren’t going to be able to sway a person like that at all. A lot of people will ask me about my veganism and it really can be a civil conversation between everyone. Just answer questions with total knowledge and you will be amazed at how many people will start wanting to try your food and start respecting you.

ignore them and tell them it’s your choice…in the same respect don’t judge them for eating meat. I’m not vegetarian and more often than not, we rebound quickly because a lot of vegatarian try to push their views on us….

It happens to me all the time, so I just don’t talk about it until someone brings it up. usually i ask them why they care what i eat? they shouldnt, it really is none of their business. read a book by Michael pollen.

nothing, just like if they drove a honda to school and you made fun of them, why should they have to become the defender of the honda? Just ignore them, when you participate you only get more frustrated and it gives them a door to get you reacting. it is just food. they are getting worked up about tsomething they dont understand.

If it really bugs you do your research. Vegans can quote 100 sources that claim veganism is the only way to eat. Vegetarians can do the same and so can Omnivores. Be able to defend your choice without criticizing theirs.

Or ignore it.

First of all, you shouldn't worry about what ppl say.
If they attack you that viciously, THEY are the ignorant azzes!!
When u engage in convo or debates with stupid ppl, it makes u look just as dumb if not MORE, so don't say anything to them.

Stand your ground and just ignore them… they will never understand.
