pre-historic man did a lot… are you pre-historic? do you live in a den or a little hut?
they had no alternative but we have! today there are to much people to eat meat everyday without torturing animals and destroying our planet.

i love when you guys say the destroying planet bit. let see 4.9 billion years old , been threw 100′s if not thousands near extinction level events, and has been threw a few extinction level events , but yet Human eating meat is worse than yellow stone park erupting , massive asteroid impact , Gamma burst , NORMAL climate change which you people think is not normal. Yep all the humans fault.

i dont respect peoples choices to eat meat

Ubervlad on May 2, 2009 at 7:10 am #

i’m sure that 97% of meateaters never thought about what they actually eat. they’ve been born in the world where everybody (almost everybody) eats meat. so the one who look up the ingredients are vegans.

Interesting… are those Stella Artois bottles in his fridge? They’re not vegan here in the UK, are they vegan in the US?

I also don’t respect the “choice” to be a meat eater.

EniAnyte on May 5, 2009 at 6:23 am #

they’re vegan now :)
even in the uk

vegan love <3

veganism = love
meat-eating = eugenics, slavery, speciesism, and genocide

missmaleficus on May 7, 2009 at 2:31 pm #

Ahhh, thanks. It’s just a shame that it tastes like toilet water! I prefer a Bud myself but they’re subject to a boycott due to rodeo sponsorship. :(

“I also don’t respect the “choice” to be a meat eater.”
Wow, that’s ignorance. Humans are omnivores, so eating meat IS a choice. The same with you being vegan is a “choice”. Accept that or continue living in a fantasy world.

“so the one who look up the ingredients are vegans”
I guess that makes me vegan since I look up the ingredients of the food I eat ontop of eating meat :)

Ubervlad on May 9, 2009 at 2:54 am #

don’t act stupid. of course both does look at the ingredients – meateaters and vegans. but there are only, i guess, 10% of meateaters, who do it, because they don’t have to be afraid of any animal products, when every vegan does it.

ironman711 on May 9, 2009 at 3:31 am #

I was being sarcastic…lol

investinethics on May 11, 2009 at 1:04 am #

it is indeed a weak argument.

mikeweckstein on May 16, 2009 at 9:35 pm #

add me if you’re vegan! I’m vegan too and i’d love to share ideas, food stuff, and just what ever. Be my friend? i’ll be yours :)
