I know several people who are vegetarians and they seem to be extremely healthy. I would like to try to become a vegetarian, for health reasons and the fact that it can make you lose weight. I like most fruits and veggies, but my entire life I have been eating meat. Chicken, beef, fish, liver mush, bacon etc. Has anyone here been a total carnivore and then did a complete 180 to a vegetarian? And also could you list some pros and cons of vegetarianism? Thank you in advance :)

My mom did this exact same thing. She gave up meat last year as her resolution and it's been over a year since she's eaten meat. I'm not sure how she does it because my dad, sister and I still eat it on a regular basis. She says she doesn't miss it because there are so many other food options and meat replacements. She has a lot of the Boca products.
