I’m not for nor against vegetarians or vegans. I have heard plenty of vegetarians preach over and over again the many reasons why vegetarian or veagan is better, and I’ve heard them out. Now I want to know some fact on how it can be bad, healthwise and economically. Thanks!

I’m a vegetarian but very skinny, and need to gain weight so I eat a lot of starches and stuff. I want my friend to be a vegetarian a lot (she loves animals) but she won’t because she thinks being a vegetarian will make you gain weight. Will it make her loose weight, if so how much, and how fast? Also, have any advice for her?
It depends what she eats right? Should she eat a regular vegetarian diet or do something else?

I want to do some serious muscle building, but I am a vegetarian and a woman, so I don’t exactly know what to eat to supplement my workout. I don’t even eat fish. Im young, and i started this 48 day vegetarian thing (for religious reasons) and i’ve decided to stay vegetarian forever. Limiting my animal products to milk, what vegetables can help me gain body mass. I want to be able to gain weight, and work out untill it becomes toned muscles.

I goto a gym, and a dude thats HUGE told me that he’s a strict carnivore, all he eats is meat, and thats his secret for his giant muscles. What vegetables give protein, and make you fatter/larger?

A couple of my friends are vegetarians and they both lose a ton of weight immediately, so I was just wondering because I also know two adults who have gained weight becoming a vegetarian.
I know that vegetarians can still eat carbs, cake, brownies, ice cream, and all sorts of junk food.
