I want to be a vegan, mostly to lose weight (I've gained 20 pounds), but I'm worried of malnutrition. What is the healthiest vegan plan that could give me weight loss results as well? I have no idea what the cost of tofu is and all that jazz, and I'm worried of gaining more weight. Please help me!
It's Chinese New Year here, and my Swedish friend wants to come and experience Malaysia. Does anyone know where are the good places around KL to bring a vegetarian with a good variety of things she can eat? She is not a strict vegetarian and can eat eat, onions and garlic I guess, just not meat. Any names and address' to the restaurants or coffee shops known for Vegetarian food would be very much appreciated! Thank you!
My husband has been a vegetarian for the past 5 months and ever since then he has not been turned on or interested in sex. Could it be the lack of protein? Cause when he ate meat before he always wanted sex and was actually interested. And no if your thinking hes cheating or having an affair hes not. If anyone could help that would be great.
I was thinking about going vegetarian, but I read somewhere in a book that I should do a little research that way I can get the balenced diet. Seeing how there are two different types of vegetarian diets, I choose the lacto-ovo lifestyle. This alows me to eat dairy products and eggs. I still am going to need more vitamins and protein, and that's why I need more websites, just to be sure I have all I need. Please no stupid answers please. Thank you.

Just wondering cause a friend of mines roommate is a vegan and i had no idea what it was. What are the main reasons for becoming either? But gotta hand it to vegetarians, dont know how they do it, I live off my homegrown cheeseburgers.
I'm not judging, but I'm not a vegetarian. I do love animals, but I think its natural to eat meat (animals do too, after all)
I just want to know other reasons, and the effects it has on your bodies, what kind of supplements do you use, and how do your decisions effect your life? (is it hard to go out to eat with friends or family, etc.)
what other stands do you take for animal rights and the enviornment, and why?
What drives your passion?

I'm about to graduate from college. This summer I'm working overseas for a study abroad program. I'm trying to lose some weight before I go. I'm doing some aerobics to get my body prepared for the P90X workout. Here is what I'm asking. Will a vegetarian diet help me lose weight effectively. The only meat I eat is tuna. Other than that, I consume eggs, milk, beans, or peanut butter for my protein source.
I was recently put on a high protein- meat eating diet because of my Anemia.
I am afraid I will be gaining weight since I had been a raw vegan for several months prior. I don't know how to control this fear; my entire day revolves around the calorie intake I take in now, and if it has fat, sugar, and what not. It's really frustrating.
Can someone give me some healthy eating tips eating normal food? So I can still lose weight?
How often should I eat?
Thanks for the help!
