I usually have no problem finding vegetarian/vegan options at any restaurant. However, since I’ve learned of my food allergies (sesame, sunflower, tree nuts,) I’ve been reluctant to eat at restaurants! It’s difficult enough to find options to eat at home (since many vegan options include sunflower oil.) How can I find away to eat out or even at dinner parties? I’m embarrassed to tell hosts all of my dietary restrictions!
My daughter is a vegetarian (but eats eggs and dairy). She will be starting school next year and I need some good ideas for her to take for lunch since school lunchrooms are not very veggie friendly. She is very picky. Any good ideas I can put in her lunch box? (besides the normal things like veggie sticks, yogurt, etc…). She loves veggie chicken, can she eat that cold?
I love mexican food (even though I’m white), and I always keep taquitos in the freezer. But, vegetarianism seems so much healthier and cleansing to the body, and I would love to become a vegetarian. What should I do?
I’m trying to get into vegetarian cooking and while there are a lot of sites and books out there, I’m really looking for a good general primer (either online or offline) recommended by some vegetarians out there.
Can a vegan diet help you to lose weight and even tone up? What are the best vegan foods to help you to lean out?
I usually use Texas Pete Chili Sauce on my Boca burgers, as it is vegetarian (made with soy grits), but I desire a thicker and better tasting chili.
If anyone has a recipe or knows a product that doesn’t have beans I’d love to hear it. Thanks!
I am vegetarian and this one boy is trying to convince me to become vegan… but i don’t know the difference. Could ya tell me?

I am 17, still live at home, rely on my mom to make most of my meals, and won’t be going to college until the fall. My father is a diabetic and can’t eat carbs as much as i can, and complains if there isn’t meat at every meal. My mom doesn’t think a vegetarian diet is healthy, and i am a mediocre cook at best. We have meat with dinner every night, and I have been eating around it or just avoiding it, but this won’t last for long.
